Thurs Night - Women’s Bible Study on Romans
Women’s small group Bible study led by Lydia Abney and Erin Shatila. The Book of Romans. Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 PM for 10 weeks, beginning August 27 on at Torrey Pines Church. Romans shows us the power of the gospel to bring clarity to everyday life. It shows us how to love, how to resolve conflict, when to speak, and when to remain quiet. We will be kicking off the year spending a few weeks looking at the book One Anothering by Rev Richard C. Meyer which gives some Biblical building blocks for small group. We meet at noon on the Torrey Pines campus in the Berry center, eating our bag lunches together. Our study/discussion begins at 12:30 and we are finished by 2:00 p.m. All are welcome to join as we study God's Word together and grow to be more like Him. Finding Hope Together: Have you experienced the devastating loss of a child, a miscarriage/abortion, or a sibling? You do not have to walk through the darkness alone. Held in the comfort and privacy of a local home in Playa Vista, this Christian growth group offers a safe, intimate space for grieving mothers and sisters to find healing, deeper faith, and trust in God. The group starts on September 10th 2026, and continues at the ongoing basis. Specifically remaining open to welcoming grieving mothers whenever they are ready to join. Led by a mother and co-hosted with a sibling) who understands this profound heartbreak firsthand, our eight-week curriculum combines biblical study, shared comfort, and gentle creative activities like knitting and crochet when you feel ready. Come discover how God can bring light back into your most vulnerable moments alongside women who truly understand your journey. Welcome.

A Bible Inner Healing Group is a small, safe and confidential gathering dedicated to spiritual growth, emotional restoration and Christ-centered prayer. Inner healing is part of the lifelong process of sanctification—becoming who God says we are: forgiven, free and transformed in Christ. Through the study of Scripture, guided reflection, prayer and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, participants are invited to bring past wounds, strongholds and life's challenges into the light of God's truth and love. Group members experience God's healing presence and learn to pray effectively for others using biblical tenets. The goal of the group is to help participants grow in freedom, wholeness and a renewed identity in Jesus Christ. One-on-one meetings are available with a trained Inner Healing Facilitator. We use books and teaching videos from a variety of healing ministries. Our study is rooted in Jesus Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit. We'll meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month, at 2 PM at a home in the area.

Hi beautiful mommas! This group will be a time for mothers and daughters to come together and dig deeper to grow in faith and connection. This is open for 8 - 12 year old girls. We meet every Tuesday 6pm- 7:30pm in the Student Commons Room, in the Upper Campus. Our young girls are constantly targeted with so many pressures that most of us moms didn't face until high school. My goal is to do age-appropriate book studies on what it means to be a godly girl. There will also be interactive actives to help foster and support a stronger bond with our daughters. From June 16th through September 15th, we will be diving into Battlefield of the Mind.

Young Adults & Young Couples: Biblical Foundations Young adults and young couples are invited to grow in their confidence and understanding of Scripture with Darius and Icynda West. This group will focus on practical tools for studying the Bible and learning how to better understand what you’re reading. Together, the group will slow down and ask important questions like: Who wrote this book? Who were they writing to? When was it written? Why was it written? What was happening at the time? And how does that context help us understand what the passage means and how we apply it today? The goal is to help you move beyond simply reading the Bible to becoming more confident in studying it, understanding it in context, and allowing God’s Word to shape your everyday life. This will also be a space for honest questions, conversation, prayer, and growing alongside other young adults and couples.

Weekly on Sundays at 3:30 PM
We are so excited to build community with other young families! We will go through a Bible study series that hopefully leaves parents feeling encouraged and strengthened for the week to come. Childcare will be provided.
